LAHORE– The National Highways and Motorway Police have launched a special campaign to ensure road safety.
Crackdown on unauthorized CNG kits, overload has been launched on the directives of IG Zafar Abbass.
The officials have been directed to allow certified CNG vehicles to ply on highways and return unauthorized CNG kits vehicles.
He discouraged the rooftop-fitted CNG cylinder with strict enforcement.
Similarly, the officers of N-5 Central Zone are directed to strongly discourage the improper loading of vehicles with sugarcane which leads to road blockage and severe accidents.
All the SSPs have been asked to monitor these campaigns to make them result oriented. Central Zone Mobile Education Unit has also been directed to impart briefing about these campaigns.
The zonal commander has asked the officers to make all out efforts for these campaigns.
