Smugglers caught red-handed

LAHORE – The National Highways & Motorway Police M-2 South has foiled an attempt of smuggling the clothes and recovered cloths 495 rolls worth more than Rs5 million.
The NH&MP also arrested four smugglers namely Ikram Ullah , Shafiullah, Attique and Shakirullah resident of Peshawar  red-handedly.  The Motorway Police was patrolling in the area of Kotmomin , when they observed a suspicious  Bus No LWC 4249, running recklessly on motorway (M-2). They signaled to stop the bus but the driver sped away. However, the motorway police stopped it through commando action and recovered smuggled items by taking the bus into custody. On the instructions of SSP Dr Anam Waheed, the recovered items were handed over to local police for further legal action.
