LAHORE – Punjab Governor Makhdoom Syed Ahmad Mahmood has said the politicians should forge unity to combat terrorism and sectarianism.
Talking to Pir Ijaz Hashmi and Owais Noorani of JUP-N on Saturday, the governor said the elements involved in terrorist and saboteur activity are neither well-wisher of the country nor of Islam. He asked the political parties to push aside their personal agenda and join hands to solve the problems confronting the country.
Pir Ijaz, on the occasion, dissociated his party from the long march and said the march was aims at pleasing his foreign masters and if Qadri was sincere about reforming the system he should take part in the election and adopt constitutional way.
