Seminar speaks of land and electoral reforms

LAHORE – The Awami Workers Party held a seminar at the Press Club to discuss land and electoral reforms.

According to a press release, the party stressed the need for creating awareness about these issues. The speakers talked about structural flaws.  AWP leaders including Abid Hasan Minto, Jamil Umer, Farzana Bari, Jamila Begum, Farooq Tariq and Anjuman Mazareen Punjab general secretary Mehr Abdul Sattar were among the speakers.
The AWP had also filed two separate petitions in the Supreme Court about the land and election reforms.  The apex court ruled in its favour over electoral reforms. –City Desk
