Following special directives by Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Lahore Police in collaboration with the Health Department removed the bodies of the martyred police officers to Peshawa. SP Iqbal Town (Operations) Imtiaz Sarwar was asked to make arrangements for conducting post-mortem of the deceased cops, so that their bodies could be removed to their home towns on the same day.
