LAHORE - A man stabbed his minor to death after shooting his wife dead over a family dispute on Ibraheem Road in the New Anarkali police limits on Monday.
The deceased were identified as Shazia Bibi and son Muneeb. Investigators said Mayo Hospital Clerk Nasir had a dispute with his wife over a domestic issue.
On the day of incident, he shot her dead after exchanging hot words with her. Later, he stabbed his minor to death and fled, said police. Police have arrested him and recovered the weapon. The bodies were moved to the City morgue for autopsy.
Separately, a 17-year-old security guard died after he was hit by a bullet fired from his own rifle at Al-Rehman Housing Garden Society in Manawan.
The deceased, identified as Raheel Sharif, of Zaffarwal joined a private coaching centre besides working as security guard. He was rushed to a hospital where the doctors pronounced him as dead. Further investigation is underway.
