Man, 40, ‘swindled’ of life at Darbar

LAHORE - A 40-year-old man died mysteriously in Data Darbar police area on Sunday, police said.
The deceased was identified as Asmat Ali, a resident of Depalpur. The police officials said that the victim came to Data Darbar where some swindlers served him with intoxicated food  that caused his death.
Burns:  Two children sustained burns when a heater fell on them in the Faisal Town area.
The wounded are 10-year-old Ali Raza and six-year-old Shahzad who were rushed to a local hospital.
BUSTED: The Shahdara police claimed to have arrested a bootlegger and recovered 30 litre liquor from them. The arrested was identified as Waris Masih.
In another raid,  the police arrested three women and two men on the charges of adultery. The arrested were identified as Saima, Sana, Sumaira, Noor Khan and Ajmal. The Naulakha police conducted the raid.
The Anti-Vehicles Lifting Staff caught a car-lifter and seized 12 vehicles from him.
The thief, identified as Ramzan, is a resident of Johar Town. According to officials, the arrested confessed to crimes in various parts of the city.
