Rangers shoot dead drug peddler

LAHORE – The Rangers claimed to have killed a drug peddler on the Pakistan-India border Sunday.
The Rangers authorities received a report that some smugglers elements would try to smuggle drugs from Indian side into Pakistan in the Kasur area and the lawmen enhanced patrolling in the area.
A patrolling squad  were vigilant when they heard the doubtful voices from border area and they challenged the suspects who fired shots at them.
The security men fought off and killed one of the smugglers while others managed their.
The Rangers men also recovered huge quantity of Indian liquor from the scene which was supposed to be smuggled into Pakistan.  The Rangers shifted the body to local police that had started investigation.
