DCO orders eviction of cattle from City

LAHORE – DCO, taking notice of presence of cattle in urban areas directed all TMOs and town administrators to evict them from the city as soon as possible otherwise they will have to face the consequences.
The DCO also said that if any cattle are found in the urban areas, the concerned TMO and administrator will be responsible for that. He added that town administration is not taking action regarding cattle in urban areas. He said that all towns must ensure cattle eviction from their areas and submit a daily report to the DCO Office.
Anti Polio Campaign: City District Government Lahore has started three days special anti polio campaign for 41 union councils of the provincial capital, 1200 special teams have been constituted to dispense anti polio drops.
Further, DCO Noorul Amin Mengal paid surprise visit of Lohari Gate (Wallad City) on Wednesday to monitor the arrangements of special anti polio drive. He asked citizens about the performance of the teams and also informed the citizen about the value of anti polio drops.
He knocked at doors and convinced people to administer the medicine to their children to save their future. He took notice of a lab assistant Asim who was not wearing polio jacket during the campaign and ordered EDO Health to issue him show cause notice. The DCO also immunized dozens of children walking through the roads with their parents or relatives and he also gave them cash award.
The DCO added that special anti polio drive has started in 41 union councils, he appealed to the citizens to take advantage of the occasion and protect their children from this sever disease. On this occasion EDO (Health), TMO Ravi Town, Staff officer were also present.
