LAHORE - Additional District and Sessions Judge Javed Iqbal Sheikh on Wednesday sought reply from North Cantt SHO by June 20 on a petition seeking registration of a case against property tycoon Malik Riaz.
Petitioner Muhammad Akram said he watched Malik Riaz saying at a press conference that he (Riaz) bribed Arsalan Chaudhary, son of Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhary.
He implored the court that Riaz Malik admitted openly that he had given huge amounts to the chief justice’s son, to seek favourable decision.
He submitted that the court has to decide whether Arsalan was guilty or not but Malik Riaz admitted that he bribed Arsalan. He prayed the court to direct the concerned SHO to register a case against Malik Riaz.
