LAHORE – Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif inspected the extension project of Allama Iqbal Road on Wednesday and directed the officers concerned not only to ensure timely completion of the project but also plantation and beautification of the expanded road so that commuters and travelers could get feel touch of freshness.
MPA Mian Mohsin Latif, Commissioner and DCO Lahore, LDA DG, WASA MD and officers of NESPAK, NLC and other departments were also present on the occasion. Informing about the pace of widening of the road, Commissioner Lahore Jawad Rafique Malik said monitoring of the project on daily basis was being maintained to achieve its earliest possible completion.
The CM directed that Allama Iqbal Road be transformed into one of the best roads of the City and besides lane marking and reflectors sign boards should also be installed.
