LAHORE – DIG Lahore Wednesday dismissed three police officials from service and awarded punishment of different nature to some 20 others on various charges on Wednesday. The spokesman said DIG Muhammad Tahir Rai dismissed former SHO Taimoor Malik, constable Ehsan Sadiq and Muhammad Iqbal from service on charges of remaining absent from duty and their involvement in immoral activities.
Similarly, SI Amjad Ali, Aamir Nazir, Imran Yousuf, ASI Muhammad Ashraf, Sardar Ali, Khadim Hussain, Inspector Tahir Mehmood, SI Muhammad Hanif, Waqas-ul-Hassan, head constable Muhammad Asif, and others got punished.
