LAHORE - Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute and Lahore General Hospital Prof Tariq Salah-ud-Din has said that and a notification regarding posting of doctors, nurses, and paramedics at third Neuro Surgery Unit of the hospital has been issued. This revolutionary step has been taken under the up gradation program of LGH to ensure prompt and modern healthcare facilities to the patients. The opening of new Neuro Surgery Unit will further help those who fall victim to traffic accidents and receive head injuries. Prof Tariq Salah ud Din said that all the senior doctors would also visit Out Patient Department on daily basis according to schedule. He said that Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif was committed to make LGH a state of the art hospital and modern machinery and medical equipments was being installed in all the departments. He further said that under construction Punjab Institute of Neuro Sciences at LGH would be the best centre of this region.
