LAHORE - A condolence reference was held for Mian Abbas Sharif on Tuesday at Aiwan-i-Karkunan-i-Tehrik-i-Pakistan. The Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust and the Aiwan jointly conducted the sitting to pray for the departed soul.

The participants said that Mian Abbas Sharif was a symbol of patriotism and true Pakistani. They also paid tribute to the services of late Sharif for the nation and the country.
NPT Chairman and TheNation Editor-in-Chief Majid Nizami, Vice Chariman Prof Dr Rafique Ahmad, Col (R) Jamshed Ahmad Tareen, for Federal court Chief Justice Mian Mehboob Ahmad, Mian Farooq Altaf, Begum Mehnaz Rafi, Ch Naeem Chattha, Shahid Rasheed and Rafaqat Riaz attended the reference and offered fatiha.  Noted scholar and columnist Dr Ajmal Niazi has said lives could be revolutionized by following the path given by the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
Addressing a ‘Husan-i-Naat’ completion at Aiwan-i-Karkunan-i-Tehrik-i-Pakistan, Niazi said status of woman in Islam was very high. A large number of students from different institutions attended the competition.  The winners will be given prizes on 23rd January in Seeratun Nabi Conference at Aiwan-i-Karkunan-i-Tehrik-i-Pakistan.
NPT Women Wing will conduct a special lecture on Quaid-i-Azam and the students on Wednesday (today).
Punjab University Pakistan Study Center Director Prof Dr Musarrat Abid will address on the occasion.
