The GCU represented Pakistan at the World Digital Library (WDL) Conference held in Washington. A total of 64 partner institutions from 62 countries took part in the deliberations. Chief Librarian Abdul Waheed participated in the conference on the behalf of Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khaleequr Rahman and met with James H Billington, the Librarian of Library of Congress (LoC).
