Marches conspiracy to sabotage elections: Shahbaz

Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that masses would not let the efforts to derail democracy and any conspiracy in this regard would be foiled.

In a statement issued here on Wednesday, Shahbaz Sharif said that elements who fear the increasing popularity of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) among the masses and success in polls, have moved to streets in the name of so-called revolution to sabotage upcoming general elections.
However, he said that PML-N success was mandatory and no mafia could stop the change of system through electoral process.
The CM Punjab said that those who came out to impair the peace of the country would not succeed in their nefarious designs.
Shahbaz without naming, questioned TMQ chief, Dr Tahirul Qadri that how a person who fled to foreign land leaving the masses back at the mercy of fate has right to lead and rule them.
He said that change in system could not be brought through tall claims and addresses but it needed solid steps and their implementation.
