Uninterrupted power supply for Milad demanded

LAHORE – Markazi Milad Committee Chairman Mukhtar Ashraf Rizvi has urged the government to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply and make foolproof security arrangements for Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) processions.

Addressing a press conference at his office on Tuesday, has urged the rulers to remove shortcomings in security instead of disconnecting cellular service and banning pillion riding. Mustafa Rizvi, Shahid Gardezi and Arif Awan were also present.
Mukhtar Ashraf Rizvi also suggested the government to declare public holiday on 11 Rabi-ul-Awal, a day before Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW). He said torch bearing rally would be taken out from Data Darbar after Maghrib prayers on Thursday that would conclude at Regal Chowk.
