LAHORE - Punjab Government will start fresh recruitment of Educators of Science and Arts subjects in 36 districts of the province from the first week of October.
As many as 29,822 educators of various cadres would be inducted through entry test and interview across the province. The School Education department after scrutiny of five companies, finalized three companies to conduct entry test.
University of the Punjab and National Testing Service (NTS) are among the companies which were short listed for the entry test. Every candidate must to get 33 percent marks in entry test to qualify for the interview. Well placed sources in the Education department stated that the recruitment would be made district wise and all vacancies would be filled on school basis. According to the initial data compiled by the department, the Punjab government approved the recruitment of teachers of English, Science subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths, Urdu, Arabic, Computer Science, Physical Education and Drawing Master.
As many as 1461 educators would be inducted both in Science and Arts subjects in Lahore, 1703 in Attock and 754 in Bahawalnagar.
The number of vacancies in other districts are :Bahawalpur 741, Bhakkar 584, Chakwal 742, Chiniot 578, DG Khan 435, Faisalabad 1943, Gujranwala 849, Gujrat 531, Hafizabad 322, Jhang 650, Jehlum 506, Kasur 1039, Khanewal 691, Khushab 799, Lahore 1461, Layyah 355, Lodhran 488, MB Din 889, Mianwali 788, Multan 411, Muzaffar Gardh 958, Nankana Sahib 760, Narowal 1350, Okara 1224, Pakpattan 402, RY Khan 1014, Rajanpur 233, Sahiwal 1017, Rawalpindi 1858 ,Sargodha 1378, Sialkot 587, TT Singh 365 and Vehari 688.
