LAHORE - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has removed Secretary Information Shafqat Mehmood from his post and Imran Ismael has been given new responsibilities in his place.
According to sources, party leaders and workers had complained about insulting behaviour of Shafqat Mehmood soon after he got the post of Information Secretary on his joining. However, the PTI leadership has decided to announce decision about Shafqat’s removal at an appropriate time after taking certain party leaders into confidence. Imran Ismael has been made new Media Advisor of Imran Khan, the sources added.
