Al-Quds Day rally held

LAHORE – The Shia Ulema Council and Jafria Students held a rally outside the Press Club on Friday to mark the Al-Quds Day and protest against killing of 25 shias in Gilgit-bound busses.
Carrying placards and banners inscribed with writing in support of Palestinians and those targeting Shias, the participants chanted full-throat slogans against the rulers for failing to provide security to the citizens.
Addressing the participants, Mazhar Abbas Alvi vowed to continue struggle until freedom of Al-Quds. He said killing of Shias was a conspiracy against Pakistan and terrorists were roaming freely because of negligence of the rulers. “Unfortunately, the institutions responsible for maintaining the law and order are protecting terrorists,” he alleged.
