LAHORE – The Punjab University Department of Persian has published a book entitled ‘Urdu Filmi Shairi’, which is a selection of Urdu poetry from South Asia’s film industry.
Engineer Jamil Chaudhry, Prof Dr Saleem Mazhar and Prof Nasim Khalid did research for the book, while Prof Dr Shafique Ahmed supervised it. Prof Dr Saleem Mazhar has thanked Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran for providing support to publish the book.
