LAHORE – Spokesperson of Excise department Punjab said that the Excise and Taxation Punjab, Property Tax department during a crackdown sealed 45 properties in Zone III Region-A on Thursday owing to nonpayment of property taxes. He said that property owners were defaulters of more than Rs700,000 and were given warnings repeatedly.
He said that they remained unmoved and did not pay their dues. He said that ultimately, on the direction of Director General Excise and Taxation, director, E&T property constituted a team in this regard.
The team raided and sealed 45 properties. Properties sealed included Farooq center, Lahore Hotel Motorcycles market, Abbot Road, Brandreth Road and Qilla GujarSingh areas.
