LAHORE – The Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) set up a cleanliness and awareness camp at Samanabad drain to impart awareness among the residents not to dispose of waste into the drain.
Representatives of Turkish Company Ozpak Mr Toran, Assistant Managers Shafqat Rasool, Asad Ahmed, Umair Khan, Fozia Khan, Zonal Officer Mian Nadeem, significant social personalities and traders, local residents and sanitary workers participated in the activity and also conducted an awareness walk along the drain.
During this drive, additional waste containers have been placed along the drain to facilitate the citizens for disposing of waste. Teams of social mobilizers distributed waste bags and awareness literature among the people.
