PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi chaired a meeting of the regional steering committee of Central Punjab on Saturday to review the preparations of the procession to be taken out in the provincial metropolis in front of the Lahore Press Club.
PTI leaders including Ahsan Rasheed, Abdul Aleem Khan and Mian Mehmood Ur Rasheed, and Insaf Student Federation and Youth Wing leaders also held meetings to review the preparations for the second major procession to be held by the PTI.
The main procession in Islamabad would be led by PTI chief Imran Khan, who is reaching Pakistan on Monday morning. PTI demonstrations in favour of the judiciary would be held at all district headquarters of the country.
The demonstration in the provincial metropolis would be led by Shah Mehmood Qureshi along with other senior party leaders. The PTI’s lawyer, trader, labour, women, sports, youth and cultural wings would take part in the procession, besides its student wing, ISF across the country.
The PTI leaders of regional steering committee of central Punjab and members of various wings of the party would reach Lahore Press Club in several groups to participate in the procession.
Meanwhile, PTI’s central leader, Dr Arif Alvi clarifying the position of his son Awab Alvi regarding alleged uploading of the copies of letter pads of Malik Riaz’s builder company in which some journalists were accused of getting financial favours from the builder said that Awab got the information from a website ‘pk.politics’ and just forwarded the link to some of his friends.
He added that he and his son thinks that the letter pad copies posted on the mentioned website were forged and not real.
