He said Punjab government provided the federal government a force of 6000 commandos to bear down on the long march sit-in; but, people in high-ups and in rank and file demanded against it and the rulers have to opt against it.
He said the sit-in participants had only two options, one of the two was to go ahead and capture the Parliament and the other was to wait for the rulers to come round to have talks.
Dr. Qadri said also the police and other law-enforcers declined to accept the order by the government, saying their parents, wives, sons and daughters are sitting in the grant Islamabad sit-in.
The rulers were not prepared to enter dialogues from 16 to 17 January, he added saying, “I had to say that I am giving the last call, after which they showed up.”
By not sparing any chance to the negotiations, these rulers want to roll back the democracy from the country, he asserted.
“The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) rallied support from all political parties to oppose me,” Dr. Qadri said. NNI
