Provision of prompt justice govts priority: CM

LAHO RE - A delegation of Punjab Bar Council called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif at Chief Ministers Secretariat on Friday and apprised him of their problems. Deputy Speaker Rana Mashood Ahmed Khan was also present on the occasion. The Chief Minister said that provision of prompt and inexpensive justice to the common man is the top priority of the government and concrete measures are being taken for this purpose. He said that the role played by lawyers in the restoration of judiciary is commendable and they should also leave no stone unturned for providing justice to the common man. He said that government will resolve the problems of Punjab Bar Council and Deputy Speaker Rana Mashood Ahmed Khan will submit his report in this regard in consultation with the Bar members. Those who met the Chief Minister included Amir Munir Bagri, Shabbir Gujjar, Habib Nawaz Tiwana, Rai Zameer-ul-Hassan Kharal, Nadeem Shahzad Kaukab, Lehrasab Khan Gondal and Naseem Riaz Gorsi.
