Pak-India peace conference today

LAHORE - A one-day Pak-India peace conference is being held today (Friday) at Lahore Press Club to promote friendly relations between the two countries.  
A 40-member Indian journalists’ delegation arrived here in the City on Thursday to take part in the peace moot on the invitation of Lahore Press Club (LPC). President, LPC, Arshad Ansari and members of the governing body welcomed the visiting guests at Wahga border amid beat of drums and songs by folk singers. 
President Chandigarh Press Club, Sukhbir Baajwa and President Delhi Press Club Anil Aanand are leading the delegation from India which also includes four lady journalists.  Federal Minister for Information Qamar Zaman Kaira is expected to address the inaugural session while the concluding session is likely to be addressed by Interior Minister Rehman Malik.
