LAHORE – A man stabbed his 45-year-old wife to death over some domestic issue in City Raiwind area, police said on Tuesday.

Resident of Manga Road, Munir Ahmed Sheikh got infuriated and repeatedly stabbed Sughran Bibi during their scuffle, which took place after heated debate over a domestic issue. The neighbours after listening hue and cry intervened and the mother of three was rushed to a local hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead. The killer managed to escape from the crime scene.
Local residents told the police that the relations between the couple were not good as they frequently used to exchange harsh words over domestic issues. The police later reached the spot and removed the body to the morgue for an autopsy. Further investigations were underway.
