RE - Markazi-e-Jamiat Ahle Hadith central Amir Senator Prof Sajid Mir has called the SWA operation as big gamble, saying if the army operation goes beyond the limit of six months Pakistan economy will collapse.
Meanwhile, God forbidden, if operation Rah-e-Nijat suffers a failure, the monster of terrorism will swallow Pakistan, he feared while expressing his views on Pakistans present crisis and their possible solutions in the regular programme Issue of the Day held under the aegis of The Nawa-i-Waqt, The Nation and The Waqt News at Hameed Nizami Hall here on Monday.
Markazi-e-Jamiat Ahle Hadith central senior vice president Allama Zubair Ahmed Zaheer, Haji Abdul Razzaq, Haji Nazir Ahmed, Dr Azeem Udin, Rana Naseer and others party leaders were present on the occasion.
Prior to the function Prof Sajid Mir called on Nawa-i-Waqt Chairman and Editor in Chief Majeed Nizami at his office.
About need of the KLB, he said just submission of 10 per cent of income of the affluent including President Asif Ali Zardari and PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif in national exchequer could salvage Pakistan from economic crisis and get rid of Kerry Lugar Bill. He said apparently the KLB was an aid but in fact it was a confession to surrender the sovereignty of country.
He said had Nawaz Sharif told the nation about each and every penny of funds collected during Karz Utaroo Mulk Sanwaro, people must have screwed up courage to shower more funds in future, he added.
Prof Sajid Mir termed PML-N chief Nawaz Sharifs point of view to avoid dislodging government as wrong, recommending PML-N to play responsible role as biggest opposition party. At the time when countrys sovereignty is under threat, economy is facing collapse and country is fast falling prey of anti-state elements, the government should be dismantled through democratic way, he added.
He said to keep silent giving the justification of worst situation of the country was just a lame excuse. It is not necessary to agitate rather opposition leaders including Nawaz Sharif should present their views on strong basis in order to motivate the government to look into the sorry affairs of the country, he maintained.
Regarding SWA operation, he said decisions were taken earlier but the nation was informed later. Even if parliament, he said, was put in darkness. He said unless India stops financing terrorism in Afghanistan and Pakistan, the menace would continue to plague.
