Railways retrieves 170- marla land

Pakistan Railways (PR) has retrieved 170 marlas land from land grabbers in Mandi Warburton area district Sheikhupora on Wednesday. Pakistan Railways started action against the land grabbers on the direction of Supreme Court since February 2012. Sources said the Railways had so far retrieved huge quantity of land owned by railways from the possession of land grabbers in different parts of the country.

An officer of PR said some influentials of the society had grabbed Railways land and the Supreme Court took notice of the situation and ordered the PR to get the Railways land retrieved from the land grabbers.
