LAHORE – With the rain giving system moving out of the country, fog revisits plains including the City after a lull of one week.
As dry continental air is prevailing over the country, high humidity and low temperature is causing fog formation over the plains late at night and in the early morning, disturbing normal routine life by reducing visibility.
On Sunday, Kalam remained the coldest place in the country where mercury dropped 13 degree Celsius below the freezing point. Maximum and minimum temperature in the City was recorded 18 C and 01 C respectively. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded 65 per cent.
Local meteorological department has forecast mainly cold and dry weather for most parts of the country with fog in the morning and at night for the plains including the City during the next couple of days.
