LAHO RE - Rulers should be given five years for their virtual accountability in the court of public in the next general elections, says Ch Zaheerud Din, general secretary PML-Q Punjab. Zaheer, who is also Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly, expressed these views while talking to party ticket holders hailing from Lahore, Faisalabad and Kasur on Monday. He said that friction among the various Muslim League factions imbalanced the national politics, while PML-Q Chief Ch Shujaats efforts regarding merger or unification of Muslim League factions would prove to be first drop of rain in this regard. The PML-Q leader said that Pir of Pagaro was a great political leader while Muslim League was a big political party and Ch Shujaat had taken a wise step by inviting Pir of Pagaro for the unification of Muslim Leagues, as it was the only political force that could steer the country of the crises. He said that time had come for shunning personal differences, as the Quaids Pakistan was passing through difficult times and the entire nation was waiting for the Muslim Leaguers to end their miseries. Meanwhile, opposition member of provincial assembly, Zobia Rubab Malik submitted two adjournment motions in the Punjab Assembly. The first related to delay in appointment of Dean of Pharmacy Department, Punjab University while the second linked to provision of funds for Janki Devi Hospital.
