Early hearing seeked for Zardari's immunity petition

pplication has been filed in the Supreme Court's Lahore registry on Monday asking for an early hearing of the petition seeking immunity for President Asif Ali Zaradri, a private TV reported. The hearing of the petition has been pending since a few weeks.
The application by Barrister Zafarullah was filed following directions to the National Accountability Bureau that the Swiss money laundering cases against President Zardari be reopened.
Petitioner Barrister Zafarullah maintains that the directions to NAB are illegal and unconstitutional as the president is immune under Article 177 of the constitution.
