LAHORE - The CNG supply situation is likely to become normal in the first week of February as the SNGPL management expecting decrease in demand-supply gap in coming days due to good weather conditions.  An official of the company told this scribe that currently the gap between demand and supply was standing around 1,000MMCFD which in coming days was expected to come down at 800 to 700MMCFD.  The use of heather and geysers at homes would reduce and the company could announce relaxation in present load management schedule from six-day to four-day a week in coming month, the official added. However, he said, three-day per week gas curtailment for Punjab filling stations would continue throughout the summer season.
