LAHORE – On the instructions of Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, the Minhaj Welfare Foundation (MWF) has started the distribution of Ramazan packages among low-income families across the country.
The inaugural ceremony in this regard was held on Saturday, in which ration packages worth Rs5,000 each were distributed among 200 poor families. Speaking on the occasion, Iftikhar Shah Bokhari said the holy month of Ramazan provided a golden opportunity to share the grief of the less privileged sections of society.
“The purpose of Ramazan package is to facilitate the low-income families during the holy month,” he added. Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz, Raja Jamil Ajmal, Syed Altaf Hussain Shah, Jawad Ahmad, Sajid Mahmood Bhatti, Malik Fazal Hussain, Javed Iqbal Qadri and others were present on the occasion of ration distribution.
