LAHORE – Lt Gen (r) Hamid Gul has said that the change is inevitable in result of upcoming general election. However, he said, the current rulers could not put the country on the path of progress.
Addressing a ceremony at Mansoora Degree College on Thursday, he said old faces could not be flag bearer of new system and for a real change, the youth should play their due role. “Our education system is disintegrating the nation.
The current system of the country is legacy of the UK. Although Pakistan has achieved a lot but the education revolution is far off. Sword of the interests is cutting us into pieces and justice is not being provided to the people,” he added.
Criticising America and India, he said both the countries were facing interior problems and that’s why they had become weak.
Later, the students belonging to different areas of the country also spoke on the occasion.
