The Sessions Court on Monday issued notice to the CCPO Lahore on an application for transfer of investigation officer in Sapan Khan case.

The victim Sapna Khan’s father Misl Khan moved a writ petition in the court of Sessions Judge and requested that the investigation officer DSP Race Course was not probing into the matter in neutral and impartial way and in his presence facts of the incident could not be unearthed. It was also requested in the petition that the investigation should be referred to any other senior police officer.
At this, the court has sought an explanation for the CCPO Lahore and adjourned hearing till tomorrow.
