The ongoing strike of the employees of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) over death of their colleague Kamran Faisal on Wednesday entered the third consecutive day across the country while the Punjab office presented a deserted look.
Sources also told that the NAB Punjab officers and other employees had reached Islamabad last night due to the hearing of the case.
Neither any case has been registered into the mysterious death of Kamran Faisal nor has a notification been issued regarding the formation of a commission to probe the matter despite the lapse of six days.
Kamran Faisal, who was investigating Rs22 billion rental power scam, was found hanging from ceiling fan in his official residence at Federal Lodges on January 18 in mysterious circumstances.
NAB employees in Peshawar, Islamabad and Quetta have been protesting over the mysterious death of their colleague and rejected a commission formed by the government to probe the issue.
His family said that Kamran Faisal was murdered as the officer could not have committed suicide.
