Punjab Governor Sardar Latif Khosa has congratulated Raja Pervaiz Ashraf on his election as the country’s new prime minister. In press statement issued from the Governor’s House on Friday, Khosa termed Raja’s election a sign of supremacy of Parliament, victory of democracy and Parliament’s confidence in the PPP. “Raja Pervaiz Ashraf’s victory has proved that Parliament is the sole institution representing people’s aspirations,” the statement said.
