Martyr Capt Faseeh Babar laid to rest

LAHORE  – Captain Faseeh Babar, who embraced martyrdom in North Waziristan, was laid to rest in the army graveyard, Lahore Cantonment, on Friday.

The parents of the martyr said that they were proud of their son, and that they could offer any sacrifice for the homeland, if needed. Brig Syed Mohammad Babar, father of martyr Captain Faseeh, said that he felt proud that his son fought bravely for the country like other solders in insurgency-hit areas.
Earlier, a large number of people received the coffin of the martyr, who laid down his life for the motherland. The funeral prayer was offered at the Cavalry Ground.
Thousands of people consoled with martyr Captain Faseeh’s father, including eminent trader Syed Abid Bukhari, Major Kamran Shah, Syed Mohammad Tahir and other relatives.
General Officer Commanding Major General Amir Riaz, DG Rangers Major General Bilal Hussain, a large number of army officers, soldiers and people from all walks of life attended the funeral.
