New PM slap on the face of democracy: Sanaullah

Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said on Saturday that Raja Parvez Ahraf’s appointment as a prime minister of the country is ‘slap on the face of democracy’.

While talking with media outside the Punjab Assembly, Rana Sanaullah said that such type of prime minister was required to hide President Zardari’s corruption. Earlier yesterday, Raja Pervez Asharf had sworn in as the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Raja Ashraf replaced Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, who was disqualified by the Supreme Court of Pakistan following his conviction in contempt of court case. President Asif Ali Zardari administered oath to the new prime minister at a ceremony in the Aiwan-e-Sadr.
