LAHORE - International Relations College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP)?Director General Prof Khalid Masood Gondal attended an international conference on the invitation of Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Kuala Lumpur.
The presidents and delegations from America, Canada, England, Ireland, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Royal College of Philippine and other countries of the world participated in the conference.
The CPSP was represented by Prof Gondal. He apprised the participants of the conference about the electronic monitoring system of the College. He told that under the leadership of Prof Zafar Ullah Chaudhry, the CPSP has launched e-log system in 2011 which was helpful in effective monitoring of trainees and supervisors every three months. The modern monitoring system of the CPSP was discussed in the conference and participants appreciated it. The presidents of the royal colleges said that with the launch of electronic recording in training institutions, the joint research at international level would be possible. The participants of the conference declared e-log system a role model and discussed it in detail.
The vacuum present in the training system could be filled with the help of the electronic monitoring system. Through the system medical training institutions within the country and abroad could provide uniform training to the under training doctors according to international standards. Pakistan is the first country in South Asia providing latest e-log monitoring system to trainees.
