LAHORE – Administrator and DCO Noorul Amin Mengal has imposed ban on one-wheeling in the city under section 144 and notification has been issued in this regard, this order will be implemented with immediate effect.
DCO Noorul Amin Mengal taking serious notice of the slow pace of work in the ongoing development work and has expressed his dissatisfaction on the performance of concerned officers. He ordered all development projects to be completed as soon as possible.
The DCO presided over a meeting for reviewing Annual Development Program 2011-2012 held at Jinnah Hall here on Tuesday. He said that funds for development work must be utilized timely and work on the projects must be expedited. He said that all development work carried out in the city must be completed soon.
The DCO directed the completed schemes to be handed over to the concerned departments.
Taking notice of improper utilization of funds, the DCO ordered the concerned officers to utilize the development funds properly.
He said that in future the contracts will be given to know and well reputed companies.
