LAHORE – PTI chief Imran Khan, while condemning the killings of 20 people including four of his party activists during the protests against the blasphemous movie, has demanded an immediate inquiry to bring the culprits to justice.
In a press statement issued on Saturday, Imran Khan expressed grief over the deaths of 20 people including four PTI activists in Karachi and Peshawar, and said some criminal elements turned the peaceful protests against the sacrilegious movie into violent demonstrations.
The PTI chief demanded that all those responsible for the violence, including high officials who were duty bound to ensure public safety, must be brought to justice. “The violence reflects complete failure on part of the Sindh and Khyber Pukhtunkhawa governments,” he held.
