KHANEWAL - The police claimed to have killed two alleged dacoits during a shootout that took place here in Kabirwala area. Addressing media persons, DPO Ejaz Kharal said that the police rushed to the area following a tip-off that bandits were looting a shop in Nawan Shehr area late Friday night.
He said that the police chased the bandits but they opened fire on the police personnel which triggered a shootout that lasted for some time. Resultantly, both the culprits were killed on the spot.
