Two men shot dead

LAHORE – Two people were shot dead by unidentified motorcyclists in two separate incidents in the City, police said on Saturday.  Unidentified motorcyclists gunned down a father of two children in the Mozang police precincts and fled away. The deceased, identified as Qazi Inamuddin, was on his way home when unidentified gunmen attacked him near the Choburgi crossing.
Police reached the spot and removed the body to the morgue for autopsy. The police have registered a murder case against unidentified killers on the complaint of Qazi Farhan, brother of the deceased and are investigating.
In another incident, unidentified people shot dead Akhtar Ali and wounded his relative Adnan on offering resistance to robbery in the Ravi Road police area. Resident of Faisal Park, Shahdara, Akhtar along with his relative Adnan was coming back from the Data Darbar on an auto-rickshaw when motorcyclists opened fire at them. Akhtar died on the spot while the condition of Adnan was reported to be critical at a local hospital.
Accident: A 55-year-old man was crushed to death by a rashly driven truck in the Sanda police area on Saturday.  Police said that the man, unidentified so far, was crossing the road near Double-Sarkan when the truck ran over him, resulting in his on-the-spot death. The body was removed to the morgue for autopsy. The police are investigating.
