Talking to media men at the Punjab Assembly premises here Tuesday Rana Sana said, after the CEC has failed to complete the task by the target date what guarantee can be given the CEC will complete the Electoral Rolls by May 25 next, the time sought by the Commission. The Minister also found faults with the way CEC adopted during a meeting on Monday to speak on the Supreme Court directions.
The CEC manner was not befitting his office, Rana Sana said adding, the CEC should have presented his point of view before the SC but the mode he adopted shows either the Commission is toeing the path of the Federal Government or is acting under its influence.
