LAHO RE (APP) - Anti Corruption Establishment, Lahore Region has summoned suspended deputy director, agriculture, water management Muhammad Tahir Faizi for extorting Rs 300,000 graft from a person against a promise of providing job to him. ACE sources told APP here Friday that complainant Abdul Sattar Qadri, resident of Gulshan-i-Ravi, lodged a complaint that Muhammad Tahir Faizi exploited his official status and influence to lure him with the promise of providing job and extorted a sum of Rs 300,000 from him. The complainant stated that he neither got any job nor his money. Nasir Jamil Khan, Deputy Director Anti-Corruption, directed the DG, Water Management, Lahore to produce the officer before him on June 28 or else ex-parte proceedings will be initiated against him under law.
