OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE The students of various educational institutions participated in a competition for recitation of Allama Iqbals verses at Aiwan-e-Karkunan Tehrik-e-Pakistan here on Monday. Renowned Naat Khawan Serwar Hussain Naqashbandi was the chief guest while Dr Sarfraz Hussain Mirza and Naeem Hussain were the judges on the occasion. Nazria Pakistan Trust and Pakistan Movement Workers Trust jointly organised the competition in connection Iqbal Day ceremonies. Among girls, Saira Hussain from Government College Shadbagh secured first position, Sahar Rubab from Government Islamia College for Women got second and Farah Zulfqar from Government College for Women Wahdat Colony secured third position. Aisha Kalsom from Government College for Women Wahdat Colony was given special prize. Among boys, Saad Faroq from Government College University, Ali Bakash from Government College Model Town and Nauman Ali from Punjab College of Commerce secured first, second and third positions respectively. NAZRIA: Nazria Pakistan Trust and Pakistan Movement Workers Trust, in connection of Iqbal Day ceremonies, are jointly organising a debate competition among the students of various educational institutions at Aiwan-e-Karkunan Tehrik-e-Pakistan on Tuesday (today). Justice (rtd) Muneer Ahmad Mughal will preside over while Dr Sarfraz Mirza will be judge on the occasion.
