police arrested 16 suspects including four Afghan nationals during search operation over reports of presence of suspicious persons in the area, here in Lahore on Wednesday. According to police, on the basis of intelligence reports regarding staying of suspected people, door to door search operation was launched in Nawankot locality. During the search, the police sought the documents and identification of the people residing in rental houses in the area. The police took into custody 16 persons including four Afghan nationals after they failed to show their identification. Ten among the detainees belong to Khyber Pakhtunkhawa who were residing in rental house without required documents and CNICs.
